#1 Paws & Claws 4-in-1 Action Clumping Cat Litter

If you’re looking for a traditional clumping clay litter, Paws & Claws 4-in-1 Clumping Cat Litter is a good choice. Made from all-natural clay materials, this litter forms hard, tight clumps that are easy to scoop and throw away.

This litter has a floral scent and moisture is quickly absorbed before it can reach the bottom of the litter box. This litter is low-tracking, and doesn’t kick up a lot of dust.

This clumping cat litter is easy to scoop and forms tight clumps. It does offer a slight floral scent to help deodorize. This litter is ideal for multi-cat homes.

Upon testing this 4-in-1 formula, we found that it was a fairly low dust formula and absorbed liquids fast, forming tight, hard clumps that didn’t break apart during scooping. The scent does wear off after a few days though.

#3 Paws & Claws Fresh-N-Free Clumping Cat Litter

Amy Brown-Towry / Cats.com

Paws & Claws Clean & Simple Cat Litter is a low dust formula that absorbs moisture and helps reduce and neutralize ammonia and odors. It is also fragrance and dye free.

It offers the same hard-clumping, low dust properties as the previous two formulas but has activated charcoal to control odor. Like other Paws & Claws formulas, this cat litter absorbs liquid immediately and forms hard clumps to make scooping the box easier than ever.

We found this formula to be nearly identical to the first two litters aside from the activated charcoal for odor control. All three formulas were great for our multi-cat household because they formed tight clumps and controlled moisture. This formula was a bit dusty like the other two but seemed to keep odor at bay longer.

Overall, we were pleased with this brand.

Totally disagree about clump & scoo.p. it’s retains smell of urine very strongly. And does not absorb well or clump well. So.if you sift ( as I do) the urine soaked litter just passes through. Could not possibly recommend and have to wonder how you possibly could. Hard to believe that you are unbiased
